RealRace is just as good as that game but they took a different approach to the online racing. Im not sure how it all works but its a blast and its growing quickly. If knife edge could just add somthing like that game, the offroad tracks would be a big hit. I still enjoy realrace, both versions, but its just not as fun racing yourself.
Realrace was fun in the begining when hank was posting the recorded records and you could kinda compete and see your name at the top and stuff but that didnt seem to take off. The virtualrc site seems to be more focused on the compitition part of online racing and man its a total blast. I see alot of posts on their forum begging for offroad but i dont see it happening.
It was easy to pickup from RealRace because the physics and views are darn near exactly the same. RealRace has way better settings for tweaking the cars and adjusting the game.
I would pay for an update or somthing that will add online racing. They charge for the extra tracks, and they charge to race in the events and stuff. I wouldnt mind doing that with RealRace as long as people get to compete.
When i compair VirtualRC to RealRace, RealRace still looks and plays good. Its still got great graphics and great physics.
VirtualRC doesnt seem to be "hosting" races, they are just "hosting" the data and the events that keep everyone together and keep everything organized. THIS IS WHAT REALRACE NEEDS!
