Hi, I just got off the phone with tech support and said that the solution is to up date my video driver. Here is the scenario. I purchased Real Race G2 last Xmas for my son. Installed it on a Sony Vaio Desktop (P4 1.6gh, 80Gig HD, 512 DDr Ram, DVD-Rom, CD-rw drive, with a nVidia TNT). Loaded with no problems and played for a whole year. Added a Radio Shack gameport - USB converter and sim still works. Here is where it gets fun. My son's computer is not connected to the Net for updates as I don't want the pc to be infected and have to deal with anti virus. We just picked up a EVGA eGforce 5500 from Circuit City last night. The card installed fine, as all apps ran perfect. However RR G2 will not boot up past the small splash sreen. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling to make it work with no succes. I took the Gforce out and put back the TNT and guess what it works! The current version of RR G2 I am running is 2.00.161. The Gforce driver that came on disc is 66.0 . Tech support said it should run! Keep in mind I really don't want to connect to the net to update. would rather use wifes pc to down load files and install my self if possible. Any work arounds to this problem would be greatly appreciated. My 8yr old is getting very impatient. Thanks in advance
