As I became more and more engrossed with the G3 sim I found that having a big list of every aircraft and every flying field readily at hand could be useful. Choosing what and where to fly is quicker and easier for me when I can view all the available choices separately from the sim.

I assembled this list with info found mostly within the G3 sim. Wherever the basic info for individual aircraft was incomplete, I used the 'Edit Aircraft' screens to determine wingspan, weight, engine and HP%, etc. Additional info used to determine vintage and scale size was gathered from several online sites.

I put reasonable effort into making this list as accurate as possible, but I make no guarantee that every value is exactly correct. Feel free to let me know of any glaring errors.

The 'frames per sec' info in the 'airfields' section were my earliest values before adjusting my settings and adding system ram (currently 1.5 gB), and may be significantly different from what you find with your system.

I had to upload the list as 3 separate files because of the attachment size restrictions imposed by Knife Edge. This list started out as a Wordpad rtf (rich text format) document, but some folks told me that on their computers it displayed unevenly due to differences in their text viewers, font settings and/or margin settings. I chose to upload it as a jpg 'negative' to keep it more readable. We old farts squint enough as it is just assembling our birds.

Should you find this list useful, and choose to print it up rather than just display it in a pic viewer, you may want to use your favorite image editor to make negatives of it beforehand so you don't drain your ink cartridge on the first page.

If you use it instead in just a pic viewer, you may want to reassemble the three parts. A 'verticle panoramic image' is what most image editors call it. In a pic viewer you also can enlarge it so it's easier to read on your particular screen.

Here's part 1 of 3. Enjoy

You're getting way too excited flying! Could I suggest knitting? ;-}

I avoid knitting. The world's got all the knitwits it can handle right now.
