If anyone here owns or has pics of a CH CapX (new scheme) please post them here and I will replicate it on my recently released Cap232 plane as an alternative scheme. This is the only pic I have and I would need to at least know what the bottom looks like

Actually I would prefer to set up the Cap myself this time, plus its in need of some modelling fixes so I have to redo the KEX file.

Are you using 3dsmax to help with your color scheme's, and getting everything aligned correctly? I am just curious because i have not found a good way of getting lines to align with the rudder and tail stab at all,Without a bunch of guessing and redo's. Oh by the way that scheme is looking EXCELLENT!

I tab out of my game and change it and whatever, save it, then tab back into sim and while in editor Reload Color Scheme. Then I can tab back out easily.

I do it the way Zelatio said above. Or I could do it in Max its the same difference however.
Well I got past all the real tricky parts so I will finish it, thanks for the encouragement ;)

Oh and Brian theirs no real trick other than using lots of layers. Some of my schemes end up having 25-30 layers. If you look at the CapX scheme just imagine each piece being on its own seperate layer. Then after you get it all layed out, each piece (on each layer) is fully adjustable and symetrical as well (if its a symetrical scheme). Also of course any "logos" you apply would be on a seperate layer as well. You always have to save your image as a tga file, but I also save a seperate pspimage (which contains the layer information as well as any alpha channels). In photoshop you would save it as something else.

A .tga and then for the layer info and such a .psd That is what I do with my schemes, just in case I want to go back and change a little something or change the colors a little on the vectors.
Scheme came out great Rick, nice job :D

Thank's for the comment's.I am currently learning how to use layer's.I think it will help me a whole bunch.I seem to have learned all the easy parts of photoshop and now im getting into the more complex parts of it,I hope to someday be able to make my scheme's the quality that you are making.Thank's again. :)

Wow your smart :) It probably would'nt be a bad idea if when you make a model make sure the description when the plane load's say's who modelled the plane...That way there would be no confusion.....................I am talking about under the description of the plane. ;)
