OK it's done. It's now 11:30 at night and I just finished tweaking the physics model; adjusting balast, engine thrust, control surface deflections, etc. She now flies really sweet.
While not truely designed for inverted flight, she still handles it pretty well (even an outside loop). The only real limitations that I've found is that she doesn't have the rudder authority to hold a level knife edge (I could cheat and make the rudders bigger, but I made them to scale size) and you can pretty much forget doing any stunts requiring a stall. I have yet to be able to force a stall (even inverted). Even her snap-rolls are so slow and graceful that they look more like a barrel-roll - there just ain't no snap...
