G3X files

I haven't been on this forum for some time. Can someone tell me what are the G3X files for? Is it to add new planes to my G3? How do I install these files?

The g3x files are to import new planes, colorschemes, and airfeilds. You install these files by right clicking, saving target as, save it to your desktop, open Real Flight G3, Go to simulation, import g3x and import the file that you want.

Make sure when you save target as you save it as a .G3X and not a .ZIP. You have to change the extension in the save as dialog box
