Hi
I have recently reinstalled G3, but when it finishes and asks for my name and serial numbers on the controller and cd case, once i have typed them in and pressed ok it comes up with this error every time....
"KEError 95020: Critical file write error."
If i click ok it just pops up again and again and eventually just puts me back to the loading screen.
Any ideas what could be causing this? Its rather irritating.
Thanks
Lillelj

Is Windows installed on your "C:" drive?
Where does your Windows TEMP variable point to?
Does that folder exist?

Hey thanks for the reply opjose.
I figured it out though. There are two accounts on my pc, one with a password. When i tried playing on the other account it worked perfectly, so panic over lol.
Cheers.

Great you got it sorted out.
Another one that needs a sticky.
You probably logged into an account that did NOT have administrative rights, which causes G3 to fail.

Yes, i guess it comes up fairly often.
On another note. Neither of my add on cd's install properly. Again coming up with an error...
"KEError 21017: Registry key load operation failed.
key: SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/App Paths/Real FlightG3Pro.exe
Value: (Default).
The Launcher will not be able to start Real Flight"
Im assuming it has something to do with the accounts again. But i cant be sure though because i deleted the other account and i am only left with my administrator one, so yes, its weird. I am not keen on reinstalling it all because getting 3.5 over the net is loooong.

The installer does not have sufficient rights to the registry.
It is trying to read back the location of the G3 files and how G3 is set up.
It pulls this info from the registry.
The account used to perform the install, does not have full rights to the registry, etc.
You could try right clicking on the setup.exe program itself and then elevate the program's permissions when you run it.

Well i had a look around, but i can't see how i can change the permission status on the actual Expansion pack. Which has already been installed.
