I would like to ask one of the wonderfull artists here to possably do a paint scheme of my savex L-39 albatros. for the L-39 in G-4.
I have attached 3 pictures of the model. I can send anyone who wants to try more pictures. I have tried but just dont have the experiance to do custom aircraft or cs's. (maybe some day) I spend too much time building models
I would want it to be uploaded to swap pages for everybody to share.

Thanks LonnieO

Model Specs.
Savex L-39 all composite
converted from m-44 turbine to EDF (at factory)
1:8 scale
Custom Paint Scheme
wingspan 48"

jet a retracts and custom struts

I hope this was the right place to request this?

Guess I will have to try it myself?

GIMP sure looks harder than an airbrush and mask! Is there a step by step getting started tutorial for custom color like ther is for the 3d stuff??

I did do a search and found gimp not sure if I looking for the right things. any help would be apreciated.

I have been using gimp for a while and it works nicely...... mostly it just takes practice...... though i still have not figured out how to get the file back into RF...... but my point is start out small then work your way up to the beautiful waving flag scheme.... Happy Holidays

I had found a thread that said somthing like save the color scheme then export to gimp then modify it and put it back. but I cant refind the thread. when I start a search and start reading what I find the I get confused and start going in circles.
I wish as I had asked in the earler post that ther was a tutorial or step by step directions. like for kEmax http://www.knifeedge.com/KEmax/G4%20Artists%20Reference.pdf or http://www.knifeedge.com/KEmax/tutorials.php. I guess its up to us to figure it out ourselfs.--- all I seem to get for replies from the guys who know is do a search. or try gimp. sometimes I think the ones who know how forgot what it was like to be just starting out at somthing! Im still trying to figure out the forums as well.

Thanks for the reply and if you do figure out how to get it back in please post it we cant be the only ones trying to do this.
