Hi there, new to the forum. :-)

Was curious if anyone out there has and/or fly's the Draganfly? I purchased one awhile back and am still working to get the hang of flying the unit.

There is a sim available for it but pales in comparison to what G3 and G4 can do. Was curious if anyone knows of whether or not someone is looking at making this craft for G4?

In case you aren't sure which aircraft I am referring to, here is a link:

Cheers!

Search for the X-UFO on the swap pages.Unless my computer botched when I downloaded, that thing isnt worth the effort it takes to click the link to download.

Horrible.

And yet it flies much like the Draganfly.

Indeed the X-Ufo model never really worked in G3 either. At least not in the versions I tried. Even when I got it in the air at all, it still didn't feel like the real thing at all.

And yet it flies much like the Draganfly.When I load it into G4, I can get it about 5 feet off the ground and then it goes into a super quick loop and jet off into space routine, drains the battery and its dead in like .5 seconds.

Hi

Here are one hint to fly the X-ufo, using settings from the great plane Sonicwarp V2_AV
The X-ufo flies very good with this settings, but the propps are invisible. !

Install Sonicwarp, and copy the file .rfvehicle, save under the name: X-Ufo_Sonicwarp V2_EA.rfvehicle
Open up the file in some texteditor and change the line. :

( You find the file here :C:\Documents and Settings\"Your name"\Your document\RealFlight G4\Vehicles\CustomVehicles)
Filename:Sonicwarp V2_EA.rfvehicle

edit the file in Main from BasedOn=STRING:Warp

to:
[Main]
BasedOn=STRING:X-Ufo
CDName=STRING:RealFlight G3
CommentTSTRING=STRING:File DetailsÕÒFile: Sonicwarp V2_AV

You perhaps also need to change the sound . (some electric sound !)

Good Luck.
