Deluxe Instalation, XP Update and Transmitter S/N

Can somebody tell why when I try to install my RFlight Deluxe CD into windows xp the program ask me for transmitter S/N. My transmitter has no serial number. I have never give a transmitter serial number on previus instalattions.

What version of RF are you trying to install? G3, G3.5 and G4 all require S/N for
both the program and interlink. You do have the interlink right?

Dear Jim. Thanks for your reply. I use the realflight deluxe version and when installing it ask for the cd key which I have but not the interface serial number. Mine is just a piece of plastic with 2 sticks. Not the fancy ones people use today.
