Also try RCGroups , craigslist, or even the back corner of the LHS. Mine had a discontiued T-25 Centurion back by the rockets for the longest time. I should have bought when I had the chance :(

What do forum rules have to do with this?
By your own admission, you were looking for an illegal torrent download.

Again you are making assumptions. Do me a favor and stay away from my threads until your comprehension skills increase. Thanks.

Think about it, KE isn't making profit off RRG2 anymore, what harm could torrenting it do?

phrank, I think there is a misunderstanding here.
According to wikipedia
"BitTorrent is a peer-to-peer file sharing (P2P) communications protocol. BitTorrent is a method of distributing large amounts of data widely without the original distributor incurring the entire costs of hardware, hosting, and bandwidth resources. Instead, when data is distributed using the BitTorrent protocol, each recipient supplies pieces of the data to newer recipients, reducing the cost and burden on any given individual source, providing redundancy against system problems, and reducing dependence on the original distributor.
"
Often encouraged by game/software manufacturers. Wiki says”
Many major open source and free software projects encourage BitTorrent as well as conventional downloads of their products to increase availability
Games
Blizzard's World of Warcraft video game uses the BitTorrent protocol to send game updates to clients.
The game GunZ The Duel has a built-in BitTorrent client.
Metal Gear Online has a built-in BitTorrent patch and update downloader
America's Army uses BitTorrent to distribute the game and patches
“
My request for the game was genuine and I was willing to pay for it as I gladly did for RealFlight G4.
Thanks to all who replied.

Not to necro an old post...
but would it hurt KE to make Real Race available for sale as a download? Heck, they could even give it away for free at this point and call it advertising (probably deduct it from their taxes, for that matter...)
It doesn't really cost anything to store a file on a web server, and even if it only sold a few copies a year, that's more than it's selling for now. We don't really need the controller, since game controllers are a dime a dozen these days (I don't like the wheel style controllers anyway. The next time I build a car, I'm going over to the airplane side of the store for a 2.4Ghz radio.)
In fact, I would have bought it, if it were still available. As it is, I've been looking for a copy on and off for a while, and I've never seen it available when I've actually wanted it.

Try E-Bay, that's the only place I've seen it.
I'm looking for RRG2 myself...I bought it already several years ago and played it as well as created many tracks and vehicles on it--some shared online on the RRG2 site--, but my son crack the disc and I'm looking for a replacement...I LOVE RRG2...It's gonna SUCK if I can't get another copy of it -- It only shows up every now and then on EBAY.... :(
...Any help would be appreciated...

Interestingly enough, when it does show up, it sells for around $100.
There are NO off-road racing sims anywhere. The closest thing I have found is VRC, and it only handles on-road racing. I don't get why this product has been abandoned...

Keep an eye out on RCtech.net That forum has them from time to time. I got a nice disk and 2-stick remote for about $35.

*EDIT*
Torrent does NOT always = illegal download!!!
A torrent is just the means of sharing software. You all seemed to jump down the guys throat based on your own bad assumptions... Maybe give the guy a break, and understand what he is talking about.
And in the example of a previous poster, who legally OWNS his own copy of the serial, but has his copy broken, just needs a replacement piece of software...
PP comment: " but my son crack the disc and I'm looking for a replacement.."
In his situation a torrent is a great solution, to legally replace the software on his broken cd.
I failed to post way earlier when it happened, but about a month after I posted I was looking for RRG2, I found it on ebay and won the auction at $42, so it wasn't that bad in my case....but as time goes by, it gets harder and harder to find it....VRC is supposed to be coming out with an Offroad version, but I haven't heard anything lately--and it's way passed the intended release according to their site.....
I'd like to know why this product disappeared as well....It's a great sim of RC which just needs to be updated and supported a little better....it's like KnifeEdge made it and threw it to dogs.....they seem to only concentrate on RealFlight, which is cool, but RRG2 had to potential to become as popular as VRC is now--even better....I still Love RRG2.....I guess it didn't sell right away, so they shut it down.....damn shame...:(
