Area 51 AP Edit Question

1. I'm G-4 user and I'd like to edit out the sky objects (UFOs). When I get to the edit dropdown..what should I delete? :confused:

2. When the AP file finishes loading..I have about six lines in red--bottom left corner..saying..object (s) not found). How can I edit file to eliminate these "not found" messages? :confused:

Click the red line and click delete. And FYI Area 51 requires add-ons 1, 2, and I think 3. Do you have those?

I don't have that airport, so I can't tell you what objects you need to delete but the process for the UFOs will be the same as for the missing ones.

Fist get screen capture as the airport loads and shows the missing object error. This error, by the way, is due to you not having an add-on or expansion pack from which those objects were taken.

Open the airport for editing and you'll find all the objects listed in the top left panel. Scroll down to the ones you are missing (from your screenshot) and delete them. Do the same for the UFOs, but here you can confirm visually the objects you are deleting by moving around in the main window.

Edited file for those personal desires for airport. :)

I see how to copy and paste objects...can I copy an object file from one G-4 airport file and paste the same object as edit to another G-4 airport file? :confused:

Good question, I've never tried.

All the possible selections are already available for any airport you edit, in any case. With "objects" selected in top left window, look in the top right window and you'll be able to add any object with a push of a button.

Hold on a second... I only used add-0ns 1 & 2 to make Area 51... Maybe it's a G4 export error!

PS I do not have any expansion packs.

It only requires 1 and 2
