I just upgraded to G5 from 3.5 and a friend of mine just purchased G5 and we are see some MP behavior we don't understand.
If either one of us hosts a session, the other can't join the session. This morning we tried separately to join different sessions that were being hosted by others in the community and we were both successful so it seems like the necessary ports are open. I ran the PortChecker app from PortForward.Com to verify that the UDP ports 61234-61241 were open.
If we both joined the same session, we would both join successfully and could watch all of the action but it was like our planes were invisible to the others in the session AND I couldn't see any evidence that my friend was connected and he couldn't see any evidence that I had joined. We were talking over the phone at the same time and talking about what was going on in the session (who was in the session, who was flying which plane, etc). If I brought up the MP gadget (6 key), I saw myself and others in the session but not my friend. If he brought up the gadget, he saw himself and others in the session but not me. My friend could not see the chat messages I typed in and I could not see the chat messages that he typed in.
