Well, I'm starting to make a tank for G5! Yay! But the problem is I have no idea how to make pivots or joints or even how to make the wheels turn. (THis is my first time ever modeling) If anyone could help at all as in steps or basics tha would be great, I'll be referring back to this thread if anymore problems arrise.

It's not going to float on water like the Team Los Buggy did, is it?

I was going to say the same thing when I first saw the post but, there isn't a G5 designers forum yet.

One other thought.... All the profs in the world to you for wanting to learn how to do the modeling but, doesn't modeling a tank to work in a flight sim seem like somewhat of a misguided first step? Wouldn't it be easier to learn how to do the modeling and how the components work by creating a model that will inherently use those components in the way they were intended?

start here....... build thread (http://www.knifeedge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15771)
the names of some parts may be different, but by the time you get there, the G5 designers corner should be up and running.

I say start a new thread in the Designer's Corner.
Choose a proper Thread Title, "Help Needed" blends in with all the other handful of help needed threads.
Initially you'll be re-directed at all the Tutorials available, so don't be so quick at asking for help so soon in the project.
Go through all those tutorials and videos.
And when it gets time to put this puppy into Realflight, I believe the help will come.
Good Luck...

I know, I looked for a G5 designers corner but since none was available I decided to post here. The reason for a tank is, when kids and people who only bought G5 for combat come here to download stuff, if they see a tank they will probably download it then strat a multiplayer called Tanks in Combat or something, then it atracts more people(possibly) and allows variety. I will start with a plane though, in fact its a lego one my son created heres pics :D
