I don't know what to tell you. The only problem I've ever seen with AddOns troubles is when people unzip the files to the wrong folder. There's nothing I can tell you that isn't in that web page.

These files don't go in the Documents folder. They go in the Program Files folder. 64 Bit is a little different.

Look at the instructions on the AddOns download page.
Extract the .zip file's contents to "C:\Program Files\RealFlightG4\Data"

Wow, no wonder the kid is confused. :D
From the add on link:
For each file downloaded above:
Locate the file on your disk.
Unzip the file. If you have Windows XP or Vista, you can just double-click it.
Extract the .zip file's contents to "C:\Program Files\RealFlightG4\Data" or "C:\Program Files\RealFlightG5\Data" (assuming you installed in the default location).
Knowing the above, should give you enough clues to find the Realflight 6 directory.
Now if you have a 64bit o/s then it's the x86 appended folde as Jeff stated above.

Once again, I post before I do my research.
I guess it's funny to you? There are new people here depend on others for help. They have no idea that you have no idea what you are talking about. Why won't you stop posting WRONG INFORMATION???

brields ..................they do go in the program files data folder ..... don't feel bad
I put my hoof in my mouth earlier today also when I posted the same thing as you (now deleted )
yes there are related files in the my documents Data folder
but when you first install them they need to go in the Data folder in Program files
now go grab the new shrike jeff and I posted and make sure you rate it highly no matter what you really think of it ................... so jeff and I can feel all warm and fuzzy inside and that everything is unicorns and rainbows  :p

We are not sitting next to you to guide you. Best we can do is describe with words.

The program files folder should be in your C drive
I use XP , hopefully things have not changed that much
I find my program files folder here :
Start\My Computer\Local disc (C: )\Program files\RealFlight6\Data

That's the same thing the installation instructions say, Maj. He needs to call tech support.

aaallllright, so, the small start button on the bottom left hand corner of you screen, click it, go to computer, right click it and select explore. inside, go to local disk, again right click, explore, find the folder that is titled program files
right click this, and explore, you should see realflightg6 followed by 3 numbers realflightg6(125) listed, the numbers may vary, right click the folder, explore, and there will be a folder called data, and, you geussed it! explore it, then copy and paste your add ons files into this folder, then whuzaam! restart realflight and there you go! hope this helps - plane guy:cool:

you should see realflightg6 followed by 3 numbers realflightg6(125) listedHuh? No wonder he's confused. You may see an x86 depending on whether you have a 64 bit OS, but you won't see 3 random numbers.
And your shift key is broke.
plane guy
02-26-2012, 12:34 PM
yes i know its broke, i have to hit both keys repeatedly to get the desired effect and then delete the uneeded numbers/letters :D
like dis, 1!!!11!1!

Well this is ALMOST what the instructions told you to do in the first place.
The directions given are correct, you got to the same place in a round-a-bout manner though.
