I'm leaving Saturday morning for a week. I have asked 2 other people that have requested models to provide my necessary information. They have not done so, so I won't proceed with them for now. Submit what I want (y'all know my rules and interests, or you can quickly learn) by Saturday, 8AM Eastern, and I'll work on something next week. By the end of the week, I should be able to post a screenie resembling my pick.

Built as a R/C or R/W makes no difference to me. I have always had a thing for T tails.
The Robin R 3000 is a French single-engined light aircraft designed and built by Avions Robin, which entered production in the 1980s.
In 1978, Avions Robin started design of a new range of all-metal single-engined light aircraft, with a wide range of variants planned with between two and four seats, various engines and a choice of fixed or retractable undercarriage. The first prototype, a R.3140, a four-seater powered by a Lycoming O-320 flew on 8 December 1980, with the second prototype flying on 2 June 1981

I was until 7:00 this morning. That's when the alarm reminded me of the 11 hour drive that's ahead of me today.

Hm...Well, I guess Norton's suggestion needs a competitor, although I doubt it will get your interest.
Ignore the swastika, it was the best 3 views I could find.

Thought I'd throw something different out here. It's kind of reminiscent of the Ryan, there is a two seater also.
Some info: The UT-1 was designed as a single-seater advanced trainer and aerobatic airplane by the team led by Alexander Sergeevich Yakovlev. The first prototype, designated the AIR-14, was flown in early 1936.[1] The AIR-14 was a small low-winged monoplane with a fixed tailwheel undercarriage, with a welded steel fuselage and a wooden wing.
After some changes, the AIR-14 was accepted for production. Among other improvements, the 75 kW (100 hp) Shvetsov M-11 radial was changed to the more powerful 86 kW (115 hp) M-11G. The plane received the designation UT-1 (uchebno-trenirovochnyi {учебно-тренировочный}, primary/advanced trainer); despite this designation, it was not suitable for primary training.

Looks interesting. Maybe when I get home.

This one is for Jeff but? It has to be one of the most elegant new designs I've ever seen. This plane has been in my bookmarks for quite a while.
Great design: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j-vATphujn4

Myself personally, I love the double open cockpit but it does come with a full canopy.
Now to find a 3-view, somewhere in my HD I have one.

Looks like the batmobile from Adam West made it to an airplane. Sechsy but odd.

I'll pick this one up if 3 views can be found. The lines on this one are sexy. I like the double bubble version best.

In all seriousness, I doubt any of us are complete tracers. The 3 views just aren't accurate enough and sometime lack detail we want to add. I know on my FE2b, I had to do the engine almost without 3 views (I could get very basic dimensions like length from them.) I worked with photos, none of which were oriented correctly for a 3 view.
And I'm pretty positive you didn't have a 3 view of those rubber bands you recently created.

A little confused here Norton. The 1st pic., looking at the seats/seating arrangement, implies that possibly three/four people can fit inside the plane(one person each side of the console/s). Yet, looking at the backrests and pic. #4, suggests only enough room for two. I don`t see that guy straddling the console??,ouch:eek:, or enough room for four. Can you clarify the seating arrangement/configuration??:confused::D

I laid a straightedge (a cube) to make those rubberbands straight across the wing! I know how wide a rubberband is, and how thick it is. Yup, traced!!
Obviously, you have a point. There has to be some artistic ability to do this. There are some parts where it's tough to get a good picture, and you have to use your mind's eye to get it done. My models are probably 80-85% "traced."

It's an illusion, you are seeing the right seat on the other side of the center console.

It may be possible to do the open and full canopies for this one (engine to show). I see In the second pic the full canopy is laying on the ground.

Have never seen the kind of flaps/spoilers/etc as are under the wing..

It looks like the three pods on the bottom of each wing are some sort of flap support or stop to limit their travel:confused:
Nice interior shots in the vid-- should be helpful in the CS!

Looks to me like a fowler flap support. With a thin wing like that its next to impossible to do that movement without an external support.

I found a 3 view in the manual of the FK14 polaris HERE (http://www.fk-lightplanes.com/allegati/note/5/FK14%20Polaris%20Manual.pdf). Page 1-2 It's not very correct especially for the Le Mans but It may be enough for a start.
I like working with 3 views that are a bit more detailed though. Oh well I'll giver her a go.

Boof, I tried posting pics of the IPs, no luck. On the page that the 3-view is on, scroll down to "configurator", enter that, scroll down again, hit next. You`ll find them there. Hit next again for CSs.
