Man you are so right. Heck, why pay for a car, just slip into a lot at night and get one for free! Why buy food, you can dine off the shelf at a super market if you are careful. Why pay for anything, it's all owed to you anyway isn't it?

OK.. If you don't want to see anymore of this types of great simulators/games. Burn it (steal it)

If you really like this game and want to see more games/simulators like this BUY THIS GAME!
That is the only thing we can do to get more great games of this genre. If the game sells good then there is a buissnies for thiese games companies.

I didn't say I downloaded it did I?
The way I figure it is, if they realistically want people who know where to download their software for free to purchase a "license" to use their software (you don't own the software BTW they do, and they can ask for it back at anytime they want) then they need to price it accordingly!
I paid 59.99 for FlightSimulator2002 which consists of 3 CD's and most consider that to be "pricey". How much is G2? Ahhh, but you get a realistic looking controller interface! Who cares? If you are really into RC then you already have a real radio controller anyway with a "trainer" plug on it.

This product should be priced at 39.99 without the controller, and 99.99 with it, and thats being generous. What, you say that the developers aren't gonna make any $ at that price? Well I would rather get something than nothing if I were them.

If I went to a car lot and stole a car then I would be arrested and the car would be taken away from me...

Oh and one more thing while were on the subject, why didn't they(the developers) bother putting some REAL copy protection on the CD? This also wouldn't be a problem for them if it wasn't so easy to do this.

Yeah right! I used to believe that line of BS also, I'll give you a perfect example. Anyone remember a company called 3DFX? If you've never heard of them then I will tell you that they were the company that was making an selling "Voodoo" 3D graphics boards for the PC. Well all of us "loyal" to 3DFX always purchased their cards and we upgraded them when a new version came out and etc.. Guess where 3DFX is now? GONE, CYA & asta la vista baby! So I know that weather or not they get any of my $ it doesn't really mean anything.

rdelt you can rationalize it anyway you want.

But it is a fact that if you copy the software you
could be fined or arrested.

This won't happen but you're still a crook.
You stink like a piece of dog crap.

I fly everything there is. I crash all that I have. (Sometimes)

I doesn't matter what you did or didn't do, you advocate stealing it. Stealing softwre is just like shop lifting, you may get away with it but that doesn't make it right.

G2 is expensive, but you don't need it, you are not compelled to buy it and they didn't hide the price until you paid for it.

If G2 sold as many copies as MSFS then maybe you would have a point but they are not even close.

Copy protection is like locks on your windows at home it keep the honest people out, the crimnals find ways around it.

You can complain and come up with all kinds of bogus excuses and the fact will never change, piracy is stealing. Your comment about 3DFX just shows you do think the world owes you. I bought a Voodoo 3, and used it I can't see how that make 3dfx resposible for my video card needs for the rest of my natural life.

"If I went to a car lot and stole a car then I would be arrested and the car would be taken away from me..."

Piracy is illegal, and can carry some pretty hefty fines.

Hmm, the topic of this thread is

"is there a place i can d/l RF -g2 ?? (IMAGE/iso) ???"

all I did was give the guy an answer to his question.

I find it quite interesting that you would delete the answer and not the question.

Happy Flying :)

There is no REAL copy protection. Tell me one REAL copy protection that no one has cracked.

Copy protections only protects against the novice user. And there are more novice users than experts in the world.

I think the most important is to code a good program. Not just waste time&money to make a copy protection.

You know why 3DFX isnt around any more? read about it, they stole, thats right they were forced to shut down because they stole technology from Nvidia and Nvidia told them to shut down.

See what heppens when you steal? you loose it all

3Dfx is no more because they refuse to work for it, they were a good company and i still wish they were around also but they made a bad choise and got cought.

If you do the right thing you dont have to worry

And to add about the code, its getting better and better. Look at XP soon it will all be that way, a code for your machine only. your board, cards and all the items in your machine. you call the company and they say hummm ok you can use the software....here is the key

My System:
Abit BX133R (mainbord)
2 15gig 7200 IBMs in RAID!
P3 700E@950mhz
256 megs Mushkin
GF2 GTS
SBlive platnum
3Com nic, cable
Pioneer DVD
NewQ gold
