Updates - email notification of?

I could be missing something here, but would it be possible to registered G2 users to be immediately notified via email when a new G2 update is available for download?

I dont know, but did you know you can set it to check for up dates everytime you run it if you want?

Yes, I knew auto checking for updates was possible, but that's a pain as you have to first be online THEN there's the delay as it does the check. G2 takes long enough to start up as it is due to the awful copy protection.

Don't you have to be online to check for an email update?

I'm all for email updates. I check my email all time at work, but I don't normally have my gaming machine on the 'Net. A quick email notification of an update would be nice.
