Assign Start of flight as a landing approach?

Is there a way to set the beginning or plane location at startup to a landing approach so that when I hit the space bar the plane would be set up at a specific altitude anywhere? (for my purposes, I would like it to start in a landing approach.)
I do change positions and heading on the ground but I WANT MORE! ha
