Comp runs very slow after installing g2 ? why?

After installing g2 it seems to off sucked the life out of my comp..
Everything runs slow now and it takes longer to load windows at start up.

Im running a p-450 and 128 meg of ram / rivia tnt
any suggestions?

How much room is left on your hard drive? After about half of the hardrive is taken up, your pc starts to slow down. Check yor virtual memory settings.
