Well I took the plunge and bought G2.

Very impressed. I have a P3 450 with TNT card. I wanted a Cub plane but notice that's only available via one of the addons :(

If I buy the addon it looks like a few planes are already in G2 ? Is this because the addons were for RF delux ?

Seems a lot of mone just for a Cub plane

Regards

Jerry

I can't remember but I think there are only a couple planes from the addon 1 in G2, the Cap and Texan.

As far as I know the free Cub you can download doesn't work with G2. You can get the 1st addon and get the Aeromaster Bipe, and the Extra 300 and others as well as the Cub. And you can download color schemes for all of these too. After you fly it for a while Im sure you wont fly just one plane.

Besides, what's another $30 or so, especially when you get more airports and more planes than "just a cub"?

Well ordered the addon one today. The problem here in the UK is the addons are £31.50 ($45) each!

G2 cost me £179 ($256) so it's all getting a bit expensive.

Jerry.

If you are upset with international pricing, contact your hobby store or international distributor. They are getting *great* pricing on RealFlight G2 and there is no reason for you to be paying this much. There is not much we can do to force them to lower their profit/price, so you as consumers may want to help us do this.

It would help if we knew what *great* pricing is.
Saying that G2 or the addons is cheaper in the US doesn't help. The only say that the taxes and other things makes it more expensive here.

But if we knew how much they have to pay for it, it would be easier for us to make them lower the price.

I think it would be in your own interest, i guess that you would like to sell as many copies as possible. If dealers around the world is overpricing the software it only results in more pirate copies.
And neither me or you want that.

So please Scott, help us to lower the international prices.

We have priced it so that even after taxes, duties, the extra distributor, and the like, they should be able to match or beat the US prices in US $. Sorry I cant be more specific.

To bad.

Luckily i can buy over internet. Because with prices above $300 it is just not worth to support my local dealer. It wouldn't surprise me if the price in Sweden is highest in the world.
But on the otherside, this dealer is the distributor for other brands as well, and he is very high on those prices to.

To bad for such a good product, that the distributors can charge what ever they want.
This is why some people make pirate copies, because of greedy distributors.
It is not always the producers fault that the price is high. As we can see in this case.
