My last ( buggeration ) for the wish list.....
( JET Drag chute's ) to help slow down the jets after landing. And does anyone know if anyone has used Drag parachute's on a Real RC jet? And if so, did it work or was it a disaster? Also, does anyone think that doing such a thing might just be to dangerous a thing to do?
Thanks,

There's a project on right now, trying to bring an electric, 8 fan B-52 to the States. There's a picture of that plane with a drag chute. I don't have the URL handy, but if you go the the EFlight magazine web site, they have a link at the very top. I seem to recall photos in the mid-90's of an SR-71 with a drag chute as well. So, it has been done, but I don't know any particulars.

grh814,
I went to the site you gave me but there not
up and running. Looks like there in the process of selling the site or something. But no matter,
the information you gave me is just what I wanted to know. Which is that drag chute's have been used on jets before. I figure it must have worked.
I'm sure if someone knows that it's not safe, they will post about it here.
Thanks again grh814,

Sorry about that. Here's the URL to the web site that talks about the B-52:
http://people.freenet.de/elflex/B-52_index.html
At the very bottom of this page is the picture of the B-52 model with the drag chute open.
Oh, and I meant the E-Zone web magazine. My mind was slightly fried yesterday.

Isn't that just a GORGEOUS model? My jaw drops every time I see the picture at the top of the page!

Geoff,
Yes, very impressive, I'd sure hate to be the one to have to demonstrate it though, I'd be scared silly of detroying it!
Also like the last pic with the drag chute on it.
Very impressive indeed.
Thanks Geoff.
