I just bought the full version of RF G2, and it installed fine. I found the calibration setup and made sure all the trims were set up so that the proper values showed when the various sticks were in there netrual position.
So now I'm trying to fly the practice heli, I've listened to the training guy many times, but whenever I increase the throttle to the point where the heli takes off it starts moving like mad to the left, No matter what I try I can't get it to hover, it just starts sliding around all over the place.
When I try flying planes they seem like they rudder is stuck turning a little bit right, though its really only noticable when you try and take off (since the plane almost always crashes into the fence if you don't compinsate)
Any ideas... this is REALLY pissing me off :(

Your sim is probably doing what you would expect with the real thing. You're experiencing a torque reaction with the helicopter and basically the same thing with your aircraft(p-factor). One thing you can do to damp down the helo is to reduce your time multipier in the misc. section of options. The lesser number is slower. Also works for all other aircraft.
Have you ever flown real RC aircraft or helos? Or full scale ones? Torque from the prop or rotor is definitely a factor.
You can trim out some of these things prior to lift-off but once you're airborn you'll probably need to retrim.
There will be additional responses from people more experienced than I but this is my 2 cents worth.
Enjoy.
Foam the runway, I'm on final.

Nope, I've never touhed or seen a real R/C Heli or airplane... that's why I figured I should learn it on a sim 1st :)

Heli's take a lot of training to learn. Sometimes I can hover and fly like I knew what I was doing.
then then next time I look drunk.
If you heli only goes to the left then something is wrong. Are other craft different?
I fly Ultra Stick 40, Fut. 9C and can do rolling circles now. Thanks RFG2.

The heli goes left when I don't do anything... and its not like the rudder is out of wack, since it would just spin then. I understand how heli's work, I just don't know why the sim would be doing this...

When you say "goes left" do you mean rotating clockwise around the main rotor, or do you mean the whole aircraft drifts to the left?
My only experience with helicopters is in the Realflight sim, but if it rotating to the left, you need to add just a bit of right "rudder" trim. If it(the whole aircraft)is drifting to the left, then try a little right "aileron" trim.
I'm like AC. I can get off the ground, fly like a bandit, but watch out when I land.Lots of money in a smokin' hole.
Good luck.

I actually think that I've got the trim bass-ackward. I just fired up the impala and when it rotated to the left I added right trim and it got worse.
Sorry about that. Bad advice is worse than no advice at all.
I do think that you can tinker with the trim and straighten out your wobbles.
Let us know.

It drifts, not rotates... and it does so at quite a speedy rate. I'm at work now, I'll give it a try when I go home. But I thought I tried that.

Just curious. Does your heli drift to the left whether or not where it is pointed? If it only does it when it is pointed away from you and drifts to the right when pointed at you, you may have a wind factor messing with you.
This may not help at all, but I was flying(trying) one of the 'copters tonight and I had put in quite a bit of wind down the runway when I was flying my Extra and it caused the heli to drift like crazy.
Hope you got it all sorted out because it is a "hoot" to try to fly the 'copters. I would have spend a couple of grand by now on parts if I was doing it for real. They don't bounce so good.
Foam the runway, I'm coming in.

They make the checkbook bounce though...

If ground is not level it would travel in the direction of down-slope.But it probley is the time multiplyer.
