View Full Version : Electric Helis
I just got Real Flight G2. Any recommendations on how to set up the most realistic flight characteristics for electric helis?
Thanks,
Rob

I too am looking for a realistic version of my new electric Hornet so I don't plant it in the first few seconds... let me know if you figure one out.

The electric heli provided in the program does a great job simulating the Hornet.

Surely you can't mean the Watt Not? (Is that what its called?)
If so I'd give it a try to get a feel for Fixed Pitch, i.e. Desent, quite different in FP and Pitch up/FFF but it is a bit too stable to simulate a Hornet, but you could also turn on some wind.
I used the Impala .30 in Normal Mode to learn to fly my Micro Heli and it worked a treat.

The Watt Not is the worst performing heli in Realflight. It's not like any real Electric Heli I flew. It lacks power and responsivity. Even the Eco Piccolo flies better and has more power "in real life" than the Watt Not!
(I have LMH 110 and a Logo 10 and I have flown several other E-Helis...)
