RealFlight G2 does not seem to recognize my transmitter (Futaba 8UAPS). There is no response when I attempt to calibrate it. I've followed the directions and tried all of the troubleshooting options but it still won't work.

Any suggestions?

Tech support is usually pretty good at getting those working. Try calling them at 217-398-8970

Got it working late last night... either I just missed something or the instructions didn't say, but you have to remove the transmitters RF module in order for the software to recognize the controller's signals.

So far the software seems pretty good... I'm a little disappointed that the terrain seems to "run out" after you're more than a few hundred yards from the runway. You go into a world of blankness where the screen is just completely white. It seems it wouldn't have been hard to just make the terrain repeat as other flight sim's do.

Anyway... I'm really interested in learning heli's and I wasn't even able to hover one in the software so it must be pretty realistic... at least I have a challenge and didn't master the software in one night.

What radio are you using? I have heard of that problem from another person when using the Futaba 9z with the synthesizer module.

I have Futaba FC 28 Radio with Synthesizer Module and I have the same "problem", but this is not RFD Interface Related, because other programs also not work when the transmitter module is plugged into the radio.

I have the same setup here with a futaba 8uaps and
there is no need to remove the Rf module for it to work, but i found that it won't work when the Transmitter is in PCM mode, i had to switch to PPM and now it works perfect, all 8 channels are ok. I am running this on windows 2000 with no problems at all, interface is working 100%

Hope this clears things up.

Happy landings !!!
