Just got my copy of G2 today (the upgrade - I already had Real Flight Deluxe). All installed okay, but I'm having a major problem with the transmitter setup when flying helis that I can't figure out - it's driving me a bit mad!
Basically, there is no main blade pitch control - if I increase the throttle then the heli DOESN'T rise up in the air, the head speed just increases. This isn't due to throttle hold, as the pitch is affected and the heli WILL lift into the air if I move the elevator stick forwards!!! This is damned weird to put it mildly and I just can't get my head around it.
All works just fine with fixed wing aircraft (naturally I guess).
I also didn't have this problem with Deluxe.
My TX is a JR Max 66.
In the Advanced Setup my Controller settings are as follows:
Channel 1 Ailerons: TX Interface Channel 2
Channel 2 Elevator: TX Interface Channel 6
OR Channel 1 (both seem to have the same effect)
Channel 3 Throttle: TX Interface Channel 3
Channel 4 Rudder: TX Interface Channel 4
Where am I going wrong?
Thanks in desperation,
Phil
