Deskjet 693 print & TX interface

Been flying pretty well for a couple weeks now w/ no printer connected to TX interface. Just reconnected my DJ693. It prints exactly 1 character in the upper left corner of the page every time I start G2. Not always the same character.

Did you solve your printer problem?

What did you do? I need to hookup my printer and don't like making changes to a working system.

Don't bother me now, I'm flying RFG2...

Hi,

Does your printer have an USB connection? If so use it rather than the parallel port. It's faster for printing and it doesn't interfere with your device on the parallel port. As for installing USB, read your printer users guide and it will be OK. :)
