Bitmap editor?

Can anyone recommend a bitmap editor I can use? I would like to change the looks of my planes.

One of the cheaper ones that works well is Paint Shop pro 7 from Jasc. Its around $65 -
$80

Try Adobe's Photoshop Elements. I use Photoshop
LE (limited edition)which was an earlier edition
of Elements. You can download a 30 day trial version from Adobe's web site. I believe there is currently a 30.00 rebate on the new Elements software so you should be able to purchase for around 50-60 bucks. Photoshop is one of the premier graphics editing software packages.
