Landing gear under ground?

Just got RealFlight loaded and having a ball.

I finally noticed something strange in the graphics. All of my planes appear with the landing gear - below ground. The prop tips are just at or below the ground level, but I never have a prop strick.

Is this a bug? or is there a fix I have also overlooked?

You might check and and see if they are all at 1:1 scale, if you have them made bigger to see easier it does that.

I found this happening too. Check your detail
level. Setting the detail level to maximum
made this problem go away. I think the program
is just compensating for fewer polygons
at ground level.

if you have edited or changed the visual scale of the planes in the program, then the landing gear may dissapear into the ground. In order to correct this just increase the length of the landing gear to raise it to ground level.
