Can the Clouds (ceiling) be removed or raised?

Is there a way to remove the cloud layer above (or raise the ceiling)so that I can go higher without getting lost in the clouds?

Please let me know if you have found a way to remove the clouds. I just got my RFG2 Lite today and am having trouble finding the plane....

Scale up the visual until you get used to it then work your way back down.

To remove the clouds, choose Airplanes/Edit (whichever airport you are using)/Edit Terrain and deselect Atmospheric Fog.
