Wouldn't it be great to have a slope to fly some of these glider models at? A slope wher we could ridge soar all day. Maybe even add some faster glider models, like an all glass racer, or maybe even some combat wings.
Think how cool it would be for a group of friends to use the networking capabilities of G2, to combat thier wings!

Sloping is a hugely popular sport right now, and I don't know of any other R/C Sim that offers a slopping hill. Take the ball and run Knife Edge!

Other slope simulators already exist. For example this one, which the UK soaring community is quite keen on (its free):

Slope Soaring Sim is ok.
It has major problems in XP and no joytick support in Linux. While being a lot of fun, It no where near the level of RF. I'm sure the fine folks at Knife Edge could come up with something based on the current engine, that would be far superior.
What would it take to just create the hills?
Doesn't the current RF support thermals and WIND?
It seems to me, RF is almost there. It just needs some new glider models and a slope!
