View Full Version : Using my own JR radio

Last few days when using my JR 347 radio my planes starts to act strange in the air and doing things that i am not doing,,, like unwanted snaps and spins,, elevator goes up and down and rudder gets stuck to the left,, e.t.c
When using your own radio,, do you have to remove the crystal first,, ?? do you have to extend your antenna,,,, ?? My JR radio worked perfect until last week,, and it is getting worse by every day,,...hope i get any hints.

You should remove the crystal to protect the output transistor. But not removing the crystal would not interfere with RF unless the transmitted signal was getting into the computer and messing with it.
You should look for a bad connection at the plug or a break in the wire.
A file could be corrupted. Does it happen on just one or two planes or all of them?
If you've flown solidly for a really long time you could have worn out your thumbs and RF doesn't have a replacement policy for them...
