Hi to all!!!
Did I disturb you? Sorry, I'm close to invest some extra money I have in a Flight Simmulator, read the information on a friend's magazine and got my eyes on the RealFlight G2 simmulator, just to name it, I would like to have a less confusing information as to for a novice, which version of this simmulator will be the most appropriate, and having in mind future additions or upgrades/updates.
I have the computer but it is really confusing going to each of the options this product offers, but is such a confusion that Mode1, Mode2 or Mode3 on G2 or G2 Lite, or Realflight, or just the DeLuxe or ordinary versions doesn't clear the picture I have in fron of my eyes, all I can see are a lots os planes, helos, screens, controllers ... etc. but none offers me a good starting point in order to setup my practice to a level I can handle as a Novice in RC.
Thanks for your information, I'll be open eyes looking for a fast response.

If you want the most out of the experience get RFG2 and add the add-ons when you want. You can start out at a super easy level trainer and then as you learn add in difficulty. Then go to harder planes to fly and eventually you will be expert. You may even be able to fly solo your first time out.

Thanks for the fast response to my "emergency" ...
I got a previous advise that recomended me to go for the G2 Lite, the diference is more than a few dollars to the plain G2 (around $ 100.00), practically speaking, do you know the diference in upgrading or adding future modules or as you say adding more difficult planes to it? Will I have the same options with both of them, the G2 and/or G2 Lite? I plan to go all the way up step by step, I already spent to much time trying to solo that I feel frustrated going to the field and I want to practice at home this winter so I can impress next spring, those who got hard time deciding to teaching me to be pilot.

Thanks again for your help

I also had this decision to make: Lite Version or FULL version. After looking at the prices of the upgrade from Lite to Full Version, it didn't make sense to pay MORE for what I knew I was going to WANT in the end anyway.

My advice to you is to buy the FULL version. However, so you won't be disappointed, read about all the problems others have had installing on LESS than IDEAL video cards and computers. I have a P3-733Mhz with Intel 810e Video Chip Set using Windows 98SE and had NO PROBLEMS installing, but the simulation is very jerky/choppy because this PC just does not have the power and GOOD video to run the simulator. My wife's computer, a P4-2.26Ghz with a NVidia GeForce3 video card using Windows XP, DOES have the power and the right video to run the simulator FLAWLESSLY and SMOOTHLY.

Now you know MY problem.

Make sure you read "Computer Suggestions" by Scott Kemp at KnifeEdge Software. If your PC is within the ranges suggested, you should have no disappointments using this software.

P.S. I have HATED Windows XP up to this point because NONE of my software which I have purchased over the years runs as WELL as it did under Windows 98SE. RFG2 is the exception: it runs equally well on BOTH Operating Systems, provided that all is equal in the PCs CPU Mhz/Ghz power and Video capability.
