help adjusting my maxxium st

i have a duratrax st and i am having alot of problems with the pullstart and adjusting it. could anybody tell me if there is some type of cable or special string that i can use for my pullstart i tried picture hanging cable allready but it just broke i also need some tips on adjusting the fuel/air mixture about how many turns do i go for the high rpm needle and for the low rpm needle plz help me out
