How about some events more suited to the Heli flyers:
1) a Spot landing competition but with a circular target and gradings for Auto contests.
2) Bottle knock event.
3) And really adventurous, A Schluter cup type event ie,
Fly figure eights around two poles for two minutes. (a variation of your pylon event)
Knock bottles off a podium for two minutes.
Pick triangles up off a podium for two minutes.
