error ".....data\static data.dck is corrupt

SITUATION

Windows XP PRO, Dell 8100, Pentium 4 1.3/ 384 mb RAM, 100GB HD, 32 MB G-FORCE MX.

I got RF Classic to install
I got 1.20.213 upgrade to install
I got controller to install per your instructions.

PROBLEM 1:
Everytime I open RF, I get error ".....data\static data.dck is corrupt Please uninstall and reinstall

Problem 2:
Deluxe upgrade disk will not install even if I use "reflightinstallationfix"

Any ideas?

When you do your reinstall, you must delete 2 or 3 files manually. If you don't the reinstall will most likely not work. There are past posts that tell what those files are I don't remember which ones they are. A search of the posts should turn them up.

Don't bother me now, I'm flying RFG2...
Or am I flying the real thing? I can never tell till the landing...

Do not install the .213 patch on Realflight Classic... I will prevent Deluxe from installing properly. At least that's what happened when I tried to install G2 upgrade over the .201 or .213 patch.
