Scott,
I have several MS flight simulators and use their Sidewinder FF Pro on the game port. Sometimes my Windows 98 system won't see the change to the RealFlight controller after I connect it to the game port, but always sees the change back to Sidewinder. Most of the time I have to reboot to get the change to RF to be "OK" on the "Gaming Options" setup window. Sometimes several times.
What is the best or proper way to do this? Now when I want to change I go to Windows Gaming Options and move the MS FF Pro to an empty controller Id then move the RealFlight Controller to Id #1. Then reverse to procedure to use the MS sim.
Is there a way to get RF to recognise the RF controller when is is ID #2?
The physical change of devices is not much of a problem but the gaming options procedure sure is.
