Nextar Real Flight asking for interface to be plugged in

I just loaded the Flight Sim and now it is asking for the interface to be plugged in. I am not stupid. It is plugged into my computer USB port and the back of the controller.
What is wrong??

Hi Diana.
Quick question; does your controller show up in the controllers part of your computer control panel?
Since I don't have the Nexstar setup I have to also ask if the installation ever showed installing the controller drivers.
One more thing, are you using your own radio, or a controller from Realflight?
