Does Realflight's interface take a modulated signal? If not what type of input does it require?

The Stylus connector is the same plug used on S-VHS dubbing cable ends. I am also aware that the stylus interface provides a modulated signal for the open pin in the recievers battery port to enable reciever control with the transmitters attenna not transmitting.

The Stylus Transmitter socket wiring diagram is. (view connector looking at it from the back of the transmitter.)
