OK, here it goes.
I have Realflight Deluxe and the G2 upgrade disk. I am running with the following:
Windows XP Pro
Athalon 1800+
768 MEg ram
40 gig HD.
NVidia TI4200 64 meg video card.
Realflight controller is the parallel port kind

I have to install deluxe first since I only have the G2 Upgrade disk. I already have the latest updates for Deluxe as well as the latest Install Fix since I am one of the "Lucky" ones with the Origional version of Real Flight Deluxe.

I have disabled my virus protection software.

I run the Install Fix file GreatPlanesInstalationFix.exe. the install starts and I am prompted for the language version to use. I select English, and a new window pops up stating that the Install wizard is preparing files. the progress bar goes to 100 and then it just sits there, and after about 5 minuets it goes away and nothing else ever happens.

So I never get any of the install to happen at all. I have at least 20 gig of drive space left. No other error screens come up.

This sucks. It has always been a cluster "you know what" to get G2 installed with the origional Deluxe disk, but now I cant even get t to start the install.

I would appreciate any help that actually works. I have paid for the program it would be nice to be able to use it.

Brian:
Has anybody posted you back? I am having EXACTLY the same problem you are. I even posted a similiar message just today, hoping somebody would read it as well. I love the programs that have loaded, but can't get Volume Three loaded at all, it just hangs there at "100%" for minutes, then quits.
