More Gears and Spinners

I know there is already a thread on this question but I have found that new topics get discovered quicker. I have recently painted the PT-40 to match one of my planes which is a Kadet LT-40 (and it came out pretty darn nice I might add) anyway there is no way to change the prop spinner color from the targa file. I know because I went as far as coloring the whole image black to see what would happen and still nothing. Is there another way of modifying spinners colors. Also where is the image for the prop. Is it embedded in another file or can a targa be created that would overide it. Any help would be appreciated. I would like to paint my Spacewalker 1/3 scale nex

as of right now I'm pretty sure there is no way to change the color of the spinner ... it's embedded in a file which you cant modify. I'm suffering the same problem on my scale heli maps... I'd like to change the color of the skids on some of them but cant... nor can I import my own 3D wireframes of other scale heli's... yet that is.... hopefully soon there will be some added functionality for tweakers like us... :) (hint hint)

Thats funny i painted a cap to look like my carden 232 and the spinner came out the color i wanted it to, i just dont know the exact position, i am in the process of putting a numbered grid on all my dup skins so i can see where stuff is.
