KEerror 12241

When I run G3, it is apparently unable to connect to the KE server to check for much needed updates.

I'm pretty sure this worked at least once before. My firewall is NOT blocking it.

Comment: When would a dedicated and moderated G3 fourm be most useful? Maybe right when the product is released???

The KE server is down. Their working on it. Nobody can register or get updates on line right now.

I thought that might be the case, but in the past, the server was only down for 1/2 day or so at the most. Been 3-4 days this time.

The server was down, but it's back up now. We apologize for the inconvenience.

As for the forums, I'll be creating the new G3 forums shortly and moving threads over as appropriate. I was out sick most of last week, so bear with me. :)

I, too, just received this error:
"KEError 12241: An error occurred while communicating with the server. It appears that we received an HTML message from the server, which may hold further clues to what went wrong. Would you like to view the message now? (It will open in your web browser.)".

So after receiving this error I click on "yes", then I get this error:

"KEError 21039: Unable to obtain the latest available version number: server transaction failed." It then opens my browser & it comes up to a blank page.
My Firewall app. (N.I.S. 2005) & antivirus app have been disabled on several different attempts to see if this had anything to do with it, even though, it just worked a few days ago right after I installed the copy I just purchased.

My G3 Version #: 3.00.366

Any help could be nice. Thanks in advance...

Hey, it works today! I clicked the update button and it told me I was up to date (which, as it turns out, I was). I then downloaded the heli update and (after a reboot) it works fine!! Flying the helis is cool!!

I'm not sure what happened but everything is working great. This is a great product!! :)
