G3 heli release date?

Any idea on a release date on the helis for G3?, also, how will this be implemented?, What changes were made to the helis, over the G2 models?, Thanks in advance!...... :)

The heli release will be a matter of weeks, not months. The heli upgrade will be available via an online update.

I am brand new to R/C Heli's (never did any RC-ing before). I figured I'd start with a good simm and books.

So I am reading "Ray's Authoritative Heli Book", and looking for simm software (gonna ask for the simm as a Christmas present :) )

To be candid, I have some concerns about buying a "point zero" release, but I guess I can live with the upgrade process of a responsible and professional sofware provider. Can I consider KnifeEdge to be a responosible and professional software house that takes care of its existing customers?

G3 sounds awsome, but can you give me a firm idea of when heli support might be avaialble? Has a target release date been set?

BTW, I am a softwre engineer, and I understand all too well how things can go with delays and such ;)

At the same time, if heli support is not available until, say, February or later, then I'll start with a low cost alternative simm (for XMas) and wait until heli support is released to purchase G3.

Joe said it would be a 'matter of weeks, not months'. That should give you a pretty good idea when to expect it. Just be patient. It will come and it will be good.
