No Pul-down menu

I have just installed the new G3 and all is working fine EXCEPT I cannot get the pulldown menus to show. There must be a simple keyboard command I am not seeing. Can someone help?

Try the "ALT" key.

Wait until you try to use the help menu ! All I can say is good luck ! I hope Knife Edge gats a class action suit filed against them for G3.
