I have had G3 for about a week now & other than no sound (updated driver fixed that problem) and not being able to install add-on's #1 (I had the original Flintstone version & bought an updated version today, so from what I have read should fix that problem) it works great.
My computer is a couple of years old (Dell 8300, P4 1.5G, 256m and a Gforce Ti4600) and I can run the sim at the "high" graphics level on the G3 airports & at the "highest” levels on the add on airports. As I said it seems to work great & I have had a lot of fun with it. I was a little disappointed that all of the color schemes that I made for the Mustang don't work, but the Mustang really does look cool.
As for the realism concerns I have read about, it may not be exactly like real life, but since I have moved to Chicago from So. Cal it's a lot better than standing out in 10 degree weather just to get a little stick time. If you want it to be exactly like real life, load you plane into you car & go flying....
I think that the folks at Knifeedge have done a nice job & are doing a great job of supporting their product.....
