You have to make sure your radio is in PPM mode, *not* PCM mode

I have a 7CAP also. Try going into your Trainer screen and turn trainer off. Mine started working after I did that. No need to change the Xtal.

It shouldn't matter what frequency your radio is. I'll PM you with contact info.

I tried a different 7cap no difference. Turned trainer off and on no change. I sent you a pm with system info Joe. Every thing else works fine. Jerry

It doesn't matter what freq. it is in. In fact if you don't pull your crystal, you may eventually damage your transmitter. With a crystal in you are putting full output to a collapsed antenna and that aint a good thing to do to your transmitter.

I'm having the same problem with my Futaba T7CHP. I've set it to PPM, trainer mode disabled and checked cables. G3 just won't recognize it. The yellow light is on, but no green. Any Ideas?

I was able to get the green light on the interlink controller when I switch the cable around. I had the short Futaba adapter cord plugged into the interlink, with the longer adapter cord plugged into the Futaba transmitter. Everything works O.K. now.
My only other commit is about the poor fit of the interlink adapter cords plug ends.

I also have a 7CHP which I can't get to work.
Am confused about your cable comments.
I am using the square to square cable. Is that the one you mean to turn around ?
Both ends look the same to me.
Do you have the square adapter on the back of your Tx ?

In the G3 box there was a short cable with one square end and a long cable with one square end and a jr style to connect the two. The short cable had to be on the 7C and the radio needs to be turned on. The G3 program needs to be running also. I have my Trainer on 7C turned off also. Hope this helps Jerry

Doh !
That was the problem for me, too.
I didn't even realize I had the 2 cables connected.
Now does anyone have a good writeup on how to setup the radio to work for a newbie just learning how to hover a heli ?
The 1st few pages of the Channel Mapping are clear but after that it gets fuzzy.
Thanks.
