A great model to develop your low flying jet skills with, this variant has been derived from the Douglas A-4 Skyhawk that comes with Expansion Pack 5. With a 1.5m wingspan, this variant is slightly larger and heavier at 8kg dry (9.5 kg with the 1.7 litre tank full ) versus 1.3m and 7.4kg dry (7.7kg with 0.355 litres of fuel - as if!)
This model has the JetCat P60-SE Special Edition gas turbine installed (and all the parameters for this engine are correct) which enables the model to 'dust-up-the-strip' at 160 kph+ at low level like she is on rails! A full tank is good for just over 7 mins of flat-out flying!
The air brakes are extended when the throttle is closed and the wheel brakes are applied by pushing on the elevator stick. Flaps, slats and spoilers are all controlled by the knob; use 50% flaps-slats-spoilers for conventional landings and 100% for a 'carrier-style' approach.
