A-!0 WARTHOG, w/CANNON & VAPOUR TRAILS, LARGE SCALE.
The A-10 Thunderbolt II, usually nicknamed “Warthog”, is an American single-seat, twin-engine, straight-wing jet aircraft developed by Fairchild-Republic in the early 1970s.
The A-10 was designed around the GAU-8 Avenger, a heavy automatic cannon which forms the aircraft's primary armament, this has a fixed fire rate of 3,900 rounds per minute, the cannon takes about half a second to come up to speed, so 50 rounds are fired during the first second, 65 or 70 rounds per second thereafter. The gun is precise; it can place 80% of its shots within a 40-foot circle from 4,000 feet while in flight.
The model is large scale with a 19’ wingspan, it has a fully working “AVENGER” rotary cannon with smoke and sound, also featured is condensation (vapour) forming on the wings when tight turns are pulled.
I have reworked the aircraft physics and created the cannon and vapour effects to resemble the real aircraft as closely as possible.
PLEASE RATE THIS AV GUYS.
Usual controls plus flaps on ch6, retracts on ch7, rates on ch5 with up normal, brakes on down elevator, cannon on 3 pos’ switch with off towards you and fire on middle.
