FOCKE-WULF STIEGLITZ BIPLANE. LARGE SCALE
Fourth in the series of inter war classic Biplanes.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 44 is a 1930s two-seat biplane pilot training and sport flying aircraft.
Its two open cockpits were arranged in tandem, and both cockpits were equipped with flight controls and instruments. It has a Siemens-Halske 7 cylinder radial engine of only 160 bhp giving a very leisurely top speed of 115mph, it was however a viceless and pleasurable aircraft to fly.
The model is a 15’ span and in addition to increasing size/weight I have added display smoke, brakes, sprung u/carriage and tweaked the physics, notice that the aircrew move with control inputs.
Usual controls with rates on ch5 with UP normal, display smoke on ch8 with off towards you, brakes on UP elevator.
