I was getting 30-40fps with my twin 970's at that resolution. That is equivalent to the 980ti. That wasn't acceptable to me hence the upgrade to the 1080ti. The engine that RF-X uses, like the superposition benchmark isn't really reliant on a fast CPU. It's all about the GPU.


Make sure you are up to date with the RealFlight updates too, they made some changes to how the software works and it really helps performance. I turned off depth of field, bloom, and blur. I don't like those effects and have never used them in any simulator.
